Mediumship or Medium-shit..? What to do with a bad reading”

Mediumship readings are becoming increasingly popular as people seek guidance and closure from their loved ones who have passed away. While many mediumship readings are positive and uplifting experiences, there may be times when the reading falls short of your expectations, or you leave feeling disappointed and confused. So, what should you do when you have a bad mediumship reading?

Firstly, it's important to understand that not all mediums are created equal, and not all readings will be spot on. Just like any other profession, there will be some who are more skilled and experienced than others. Additionally, there may be times when a medium is simply having an off day or struggling to connect with the spirit world. It's also possible that the messages you received were not what you were hoping for, or that you didn't understand the messages correctly. (Side note!... please always ask me questions during your reading with me, especially if you don't understand something. Sometimes it’s as simple as re-wording something as my interpretation doesn't match yours. I would never want you to leave having questions that's why I will always check in with you, to ask if you do have any questions.)

If you've had a bad mediumship reading, the first thing you should do is take a deep breath and remind yourself that this is not a reflection of your loved one's presence in your life. It's also important to avoid jumping to conclusions and assuming that all mediums are frauds or that the practice itself is a scam. Remember that one bad experience does not define an entire profession.

If this happened to you, you may consider seeking out other mediums for additional readings. Doing so can help you gain a better understanding of the messages you received, as well as provide validation and confirmation of what was shared. This can be especially important if you received conflicting messages from the first medium. As readings should always leave you feeling loved, supported and guided.

Another option to consider is to take a break from mediumship readings altogether. While mediumship can be a powerful tool for healing and connection, it's not the only way to communicate with your loved ones who have passed away. You can still feel their presence and receive messages in other ways, such as through dreams, signs, or your own intuition.

It's also worth noting that mediumship readings are not a one-size-fits-all solution. Just because one person had a positive experience with a certain medium does not mean that you will have the same experience. Every individual and every medium has their own unique energy and way of communicating with the spirit world. So, it's important to take the time to find a medium who you feel comfortable with and who resonates with you.

Additionally, it's important to have realistic expectations when it comes to mediumship readings. While mediums can provide valuable messages and insights, they are not fortune-tellers or miracle-workers. They cannot guarantee specific outcomes or answers to all of your questions. Although we do try our best!

Finally, if you do decide to seek out another medium for a reading, it's important to do your research and find a reputable and trustworthy practitioner. Look for reviews and recommendations from others who have had positive experiences with the medium, and ask questions about their experience and training. A good medium will be transparent and honest about their process and what you can expect from a reading.

In conclusion, while a bad mediumship reading can be disappointing and confusing, it's important to take it with a grain of salt and not let it deter you from seeking guidance and connection with your loved ones in the spirit world in the future. Remember to approach mediumship readings with an open mind and heart but not let them dictate your entire life's path. Ultimately, you are the only one who can make decisions about your own life, and while the guidance and messages from a medium can be valuable, it's up to you to discern what feels true and authentic to you.

With love,

Tricia xx
